It was so much fun to play on the main floor of the Gaggalacka Festival on Sunday at noon. On the beginning there were some night owls on the dancefloor, and gradually more and more awakened people joined them. For all of them I mixed this psychedelic and forestique journey. This set was created to sacrifice one's ego. It was designed to be like a deep-breathing meditation, alternating the breath-in and breath-out motion along the tracks. The only thing that mediates these ups and downs are the tribal percussions which are a common theme in this set. I invite you to meditate and give yourself completely to this psychedelic trance. Don't be afraid to let go of your ego. Embrace the darkness to reach the light.

Yoav Levy, better known as KINAI, is a 29-year-old producer from Ginot Shomeron, Israel. For over six years, he has been crafting high-energy, nighttime psychedelic music. As the founder of Nebula, a series of open-air nature parties, and Kaplika Records, a label dedicated to promoting fast-paced, boundary-pushing nighttime psytrance, KINAI has made it his mission to spotlight Israeli talent on the global stage.

This set is part of Shaman Booking's ongoing initiative to highlight and promote Israeli creators, introducing their unique sounds to the international psytrance community. KINAI draws inspiration from legendary artists such as Oroboro, Ott, and Pink Floyd, skillfully blending classic psychedelic influences with cutting-edge production techniques. Now based in Berlin, Germany, Sentient Number Six is the darkpsy project of Matthew Martinez, who was born in Virginia, USA in 1992.

Heralding a fearsome coalescence of all things dark and psychedelic, his production style is characterized by deep, ominous basslines, immersive, layered atmospheres, and a sinister palette of organic and synthetic leads.

From eerie, textural forest, to grinding, industrial-edged darkpsy, Sentient Number Six's sound is as identifiable and exciting as it is unique. Bringing his wide and diverse influences to life with his sound design and production prowess, he crafts sonic journeys that blur the line between the natural and the mechanical, leading audiences into the furthest reaches of the psychedelic plane.

"This mix has a solid mix of old and new music, including both my own productions and collaborations with other producers. There are quite a few tracks that are finished but unreleased, as well as a few work-in-progress tracks that I just wanted to test out in the context of a full set. Normally when I play at parties, I like to play DJ sets that showcase a blend of my own music and collabs, as well as tracks from other artists and friends that I'm enjoying at the moment. But for this podcast mix, I decided to do more of a production showcase and only play my own music. When psytrance first really caught his attention as a listener,a fan and follower, was at a party in 2006 in Goa and then started through the years to expand his passion by collecting his favourite tracks from different artist and labels and then started learning how to mix.His music separates you from an  age where we find ourselves constantly bound by social stigma and its limitations, WickedForce creates an environment for his listeners to feel safe within and without the chaos of their minds. His music reflects the deep and dark turns the human mind takes in its journey of evolution, a mix of deep and groovy sounds and Phat baselines, sends you from the dance-floor into a dimension far beyond the tangible truth, on an everlasting adventure through multilayered soundscapes and complex tonal patterns into an ecstatic dance experience in order to open up new ways of interconnection between music, mind and body.
