This album is beyond special to me. Art has always been an escape for me, even before I got good at it, but whenever I started to get good at it all I did was judge myself. I'd make unreasonably deadlines, make projects I wasn't proud of, and shit on myself when something didn't perform well. That didn't happen here. I just let myself enjoy the process, making things I actually wanted to.

I listened to my favorites, learned from them, learned new tricks, and made something I can actually be proud of. I drew samples from things that made me feel nostalgic and happy, and I kept the people I love in mind throughout. The entirety of this project is dedicated to the things and people I love, and how we should show to those who earn it. For keeping us motivated, making us feel loved, and inspiring us to change how we look at things.
