Highly influenced by early 1980’s electronic music and classic 90's trance, Emilio Van Rijsel from Lille, France, debuts on Italo Moderni with energetic Moroder-esque propelling bass lines next to epic synth patterns and hypnotic sounds. With “Tendre Furie EP”, Emlio van Rijsel offers a glimpse of the wide array of his influences, embarking us on a synthful romantic & melancholic journey, depicting the nostalgia of missed blissful raving nights. Without a doubt, Italo Moderni bets on this great artist who has a very promising future on the dancefloors.
Remixes duties fall to Raw Union man St. Theodore, who replaces those italo trance flourishes with the strobe-lit pulse of Giallo and master producer Daniel Monaco the layers of well-informed 80s synth wave sends us into another dimension with high energy vibes.

Self Learning System present their very first record and deliver a new label focussing on conceptual work as well as interdisciplinary art in full effect.

We believe in the human mind as a self-learning system - creators and originators connected all around the globe aiming to keep the scene alive. We want to cultivate a community and platform for exchange with other artists pursuing music, design, art and events.

Our first strike comes as “The Arrival Of Unisex & Ernst”, a split EP of the two labelheads to introduce themselves and the sound of SLS. The record contains six analog hardware tools ranging from classic Electro to Industrial.

SELF001 also includes an A2 inlay print of Dominik Widmanns acrylic painting „Fabric“ (as pictured). His artworks will cover our first three records, fitting perfectly with the cold and futuristic soundscapes we want to showcase.

Self Learning System is based in Leipzig, where we work together with the local R.A.N.D. Muzik record pressing plant and InchByInch distribution.

Prague based FM Label connects music, fashion and design. Established in 2020 by Milan Fatrla, label joins the flourishing scene of Prague with a vision of a music, in which the new revisits the old. A vision where strongly-rooted love for hip-hop merges with passion for everything electronic and danceable, to offer records where these two genres meet and reconnect. With its modular attitude, FM Label plays with norms of record sleeve design and fashion. To celebrate reaching their 50th release, Manchester-based label Natural Sciences serve up a 20 track V/A with contributions from label mates old and new. As ever, it's a heady mix of mutant electronics, showcasing the diverse sounds that have continued to stand the label apart from the rest. From hip hop to electro, booty bass and industrial, Age In Decline features tracks from Mutant Joe, Galaxian, Prequel Tapes, DJ Frankie, and our pick from Finnish producer Sansibar.

WIDE Records is a London based Bass label with a global roster of 16 artists.

WIDE Records was founded in 2001, licensing critically acclaimed EPs by Debasser to Novamute and a UK Bass Mix CD by DJ Cutlass Supreme in 2003.  Following licensing agreements with GTI Recordings, Input-Output & Seed Records, WIDE Records released its debut digital EP, “The Old Skool EP” by DJ Cutlass Supreme in 2006.

2009 has seen WIDE Records embrace a whole  slew of new artists prepared to take the ever expanding UK Bass sound to new levels of low end experimentation and degradation. Check Pirate Soundsystem for starters…

We’ve also been moving outside of our green and pleasant land to meet, greet and embrace the musical deviance of our favourite U.S intellectual ghetto/junglist Murderbot. Closer to home we have the likes of  Doshy, T-Polar and WIDE bastions of bass Debasser, Smashback and DJ Cutlass Supreme all ready to release something a bit ridiculous…
