Wet markets is the essence of traditional Chinese grocery shopping, which involves shouty hawkers, dynamic movements and rustic atmosphere.

On the other hand, Supermarket ambience features trolley movements, freezer hums, busy checkouts area and etc.

Most crowd recordings are in CANTONESE.

These ambience are aimed to be sonic backgrounds for movie scenes, games and etc. Subtle and characterful. Perfect for background layering.

PANORAMA is a collection of ambience, background sound effect, recorded using a dedicated 3 channels microphone array, specify catered for film audio postproduction where there is a centre channel.

The library features recordings of harbours, empty city streets and diffused urban skylines where the three channel microphone array excels.

Recording ambience in three channels (LCR) gives a solid centre image to sound stage, without relying on "Phantom Centre". At the same time, it provides  more coherence between LR and Center channel. It also gives editors or mixers the ability to adjust the width of sound stage to suit the scene.

These recordings are perfect for background sound design in films and games.

Hong Kong Residential features a collection of ambience background sounds recorded at Tsing Yi island, the geographical centre point of Hong Kong city. Surrounded by business and industrial zones, there are quiet villages, public housing estates and parks on this island, which manifest the humble, down-to-earth and quieter side of this futurist city. 

Selected locations are recorded at different times of a date. Morning, afternoon and evening, which reflects the ever-evolving sonic dynamics of each locations.

This libraries feature interior onboard recordings of the main five mode of transport in Hong Kong: TAXI, BUS, MINIBUS, TRAM and MTR. From metal grinding and squeaks of trams to the ultra-gusty wind noise of the high-speed MTR train, this collection of recordings are best used as sonic backdrop for daily commuting movie scenes or as materials for transport-themed sound designs.

DEMO WO.10 COUNTRYSIDE Hong Kong

A few days ago I combined a wooden box with some noisy elements. Afterwards I confronted this box with some household objects and recorded it. After cutting and editing these sounds I've got a very solid and unique Drum Kit. I made a tiny loop out of this and this loop evolved to this song. A musical audio story.
