This was a band fronted by the infamous Reverend Conner Tribble. A band I was playing with opened for them at the Dark Horse Tavern in Atlanta. It was their last show of a small east coast tour before heading home to New York city. I was lucky enough to get the very last copy of this album. I can't find ANYTHING about this band or recording on the interwebs but it's too good to not share so here it is. Enjoy!

'The Interesting Guys' was a band fronted by Athens, GA legend Reverend Conner Tribble. At the time (circa '95) were hailing out of New York on a small east coast tour to promote their latest recording "While You're Down There". A band I was playing with opened for them at the Dark Horse Tavern in Atlanta. It was their last show of the tour before heading home to New York city. It was a fantastic show and the Reverend Tribble delivered one of the most entertaining shows I've ever seen in a small club atmosphere. I was lucky enough to get the very last copy of this album. Next time I dig out my CDs I'll try and remember to post a copy of the original art. I can't find ANYTHING about this band or recording on the interwebs but it's too good to not share so here it is. 8 Bus the second band I was a member of durring my time in Atlanta, GA. This was the first official recording I ever was a part of in Atlanta that was in a nice studio. We recorded this at Exocet with Bruce Bennet and Scott Patton. Just a spectacular band to play with.

A band that was playing the local scene in Atlanta in the early-mid nighties when I was there. This is the only studio recording I know about and I don't know very many people that have a copy. We never got to play a show with them but I did get to see them live at the Cotton Club and it was a fantastic show.
