Nathan Coles -Spontanious Combustion (1996)

Recorded in 2017, Strange finds Gideon Jackson in full flow, bumpy, melodic, and raw slices of tech house that showcase the sound he helped shape in London’s underground.

We’re putting this mix out now to mark something special: Gideon’s long-awaited return to the decks, first at Archivio presents Wiggle (H0L0, NYC – Oct 18) and then at Wiggle (Gaffe, London – Nov 1). The mix is both a snapshot of where he came from and a taste of the roots he’ll be digging back into for these shows.

A reminder of why his name is woven into the early fabric of London’s tech house movement, and why we’re so excited to welcome him back.
