Driven for the last 20+ years by his passion for music, TAKiN is a celebrated Canadian artist, producer, radio host, event organizer, promoter, and entertainer.

His passion is constantly evolving, from remixing exciting tracks and genres early in his career to being an all-around artist and original music producer. TAKiN’s talent has been recognized by leading labels including Wiggle Room Records, 6N7, and Maloos Music. He has played in top venues across Canada in Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa. As a DJ, his focus is on the mixology of people and music, rhythms and creativity to create a unique energy on the dance floor transcending his audience to a place of thrilling and inspired experience.

“Captain Wiggle”, TAKiN, is also the founder and creative mind behind Wiggly Events, a prominent event-organizing group in Toronto, and a flourishing community of artists and like-minded people. He’s also the founder of Wiggle Room, an internationally recognized music venue in Toronto.

The love of music has been an unprecedented driving factor in TAKiN’s life, creating evolution in his desire for various sounds and scenes within the industry. He is a supporter of underground music with a great appreciation of deep and tech-house, ethnic and old-world beat fusion sounds. His focus is more in tune than ever on creating revolutionary sounds and styles, inspiring a broad audience and a new generation of music lovers from around the world.

DJ Farouki here‎ and a bit of info on me. I grew up in Toronto and have been fortunate enough to see a great music scence grow in this city. I'm fairly new to Deejaying been mixing music for the past 6 years and learning with each experience. Music has always been special to me since I could remember growing up on 90's dance music and hip hop. It was the early 2000s when I really discovered house music and fell in love with the various sounds. I kept and still keep an open ear to house, techno, trance and all kinds of sounds allowing me to be flexible when I play. The classics in house are a favourite for me and gets still get me excited about this music, often I play them in my sets while at the same time exploring new music with the dance floor. I like to play anywhere from the feel good house melodies to the darker sounds in a timely fashion and I really don't hold back. If I'm not Deejayng you will find me on the dance floor as I enjoy both experiences equally. Still growing as a DJ and in the middle of a very exciting time.​

Secret Society Sessions is a show broadcasted every Wednesday 6-9pm live from Girth Radio. The studio is conveniently nestled inside an aesthetic bar just one block east of St. Lawrence Market, Pacific Junction Hotel​ (234 King Street East).

This is more than a radio show… it is a social collective for people at play. We invite you for after work drinks, food and games – Pacific Junction Hotel features many amenities including Locally Brewed Beer, an Outdoor Patio, Table Tennis, Pool, Foosball, Arcade Classics and the only real Ice Hockey table in the city!

Our goal is to provide the atmosphere for a regular gathering that revolves around our love for music and the celebration of getting over the hump of the week. Come early, spend a few hours with your friends listening to artistically curated sounds and go home happy, proving that a night out does not necessarily have to be followed by a day in.

First time caller, long time listener....

SubtleFrank first started promoting his own parties in 2007. This soon led to a move behind the decks cultivating his sound and a lucky opportunity to play on the same bill with UK's House music hero Richard Dinsdale.

Fast-forward to today and SubtleFrank would describe his sound as an eclectic mix of house, from deep to techy, influenced by the music out of New York, Detroit, London and Berlin. Releases from Papa Records, Classic Music Company, Bar25, Large and Toy Tonics are always at the ready.

Luis F has become a local favourite. Having played some of the biggest parties this city has to offer, he shows no sign of slowing down. A wiggly events resident, is preparing for playground festival in August. Has had the pleasure of playing reputable parties for some of Toronto’s elite promotion companies. Wiggly events, Secret society, Coda, Promise, One loft are just a few on that list. His unique style of mixing genres, speaks to the crowd in a way that only a jazz trained musician could accomplish.
