Elicia Miller is a candida expert, certified holistic health counselor and author of the e-book Detox 101. Elicia’s own journey toward physical, mental and emotional enlightenment began years ago. Frustrated with traditional doctors and therapists and the lack of results, she researched and tried over 50 detox cleansing and holistic healing methods from around the world. This process helped her cure herself of many emotional and chronic health issues, including systemic candida, addictions, eating disorders, perfectionism and more. Today, Elicia firmly understands what it takes to heal the body. She specializes in the emotional connection between the mind and body for self-healing and provides her clients with realistic and encouraging expectations and results.

Jessica Hanners is the Executive Chef for six Atlanta Restaurants all within the Planet Jenny brand. She went to University of Alabama for hospitality management and Johnson and Wales University for culinary arts. Over the past 20 years, Jessica has worked in kitchens all over the country, including nationally acclaimed restaurants, such as FIG in Charleston with Chef Mike Lata; SNOB, Nolia and Common House in Charlotte; and Murphy's of Atlanta, Pie Bar, Souper Jenny, and several more in Atlanta. Jessica's passions lie within sharing the art of healthy living — through education, cooking classes and delivering holistic meals to her community.

Don Reed Simmons is an active participant in the pioneering field of Integrative Medicine and Mindful Meditation particularly with the use of sound. He speaks and performs at Universities, hospitals and schools on a regular basis and has produced multiple best selling meditation CD’s his latest being “Sacred Journey of the Shaman’s Gong". His “One Minute Meditation” from Insight Timer is played over 250 times a day worldwide. For the past 11 years he has led guided meditations with Sound at Phoenix and Dragon Bookstore in Atlanta. As a Sound Therapist, Simmons serves on the Board of Directors for and is the President of the International Sound Therapy Association (ISTA).

Kelly Walden, Registered Life Coach /Trainer/Breathwork Coach has been involved in breathwork/life coaching for over 25 years.  As co-owner of the Atlanta, Georgia Breathworking Center, Kelly has assisted in creating a very strong breathworking community. Kelly has also conducted workshops worldwide. She enjoys sharing her light with others as they facilitate their own healing. One of her main goals is to bring more awareness to herself and those around her.

Jason Anderson is a 500 ERYT based in Atlanta. He has been teaching yoga fulltime for 6 years and currently teaching at Atlanta Hot Yoga Buckhead, Midtown Athletic Club and Ember Hot Yoga. Beginning in March, he will be teaching classes at Korsi Yoga. Previously, he played basketball at the University of Florida as well as professionally in Europe and South America before finding yoga. He recently studied with Shiva Rea in Chakra, Elemental and Rasa Vinyasa, which has helped to refine Calmtivity Yoga. He has been featured in Yoga Journal.

Wigwam Presents Jason Anderson: Yogi

Desiree Nathansan began her formal dance training at the age of four at Florida Ballet Arts. She went on to dance for the University of Florida (UF) Dazzlers dance team and the Atlanta Hawks Dance team. During her six seasons with the Hawks, she danced at both the 2002 NBA All Star and Celebrity All Star games. Additionally, she has worked with several music artists, including The Sugarhill Gang, MC Hammer, Kool and the Gang, American Idol finalist Ejay Day, Bryce, Cat Chang and Pilar Montenegro. Desiree completed her master’s in nutrition at Georgia State University in the fall of 2010 and is currently a NESTA-certified personal trainer and fitness nutrition coach as well as an AFAA-certified group exercise instructor. In between clients and dancing, Desiree trains as a fitness competitor on the Fitness Universe Pageant circuit.

In this session, they share their inspirational stories of launching Kate's Club, the Giving Kitchen, and Hope for Steve and Hope Malas. Kick off the day by feeling inspired to be involved in something that positively impacts both your well-being and the world's. 

In her role as co-founder of Staplehouse Restaurant, Jennifer Hidinger orchestrates the development and execution of all aspects of the restaurant, including the design, operational features and all business management. As co-founder and spokesperson for The Giving Kitchen Initiative (TGK), Jennifer advises on brand awareness and community involvement while providing a personal account in telling the story of TGK on a local and national platform. 

Kate Atwood was 12 years old when her mother passed away after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Twelve years later, she founded Kate’s Club, a nationally acclaimed not-for-profit organization that provides support to children and teens facing life after the death of a parent or sibling. Her journey from motherless child to social entrepreneur sheds inspiration and education on how sometimes our biggest gift to ourselves is found in discovering a passion to help others. Kate has been featured in six books as a thought-leader on personal giving and social entrepreneurship. She is the author of A Healing Place: Help Your Child Find Hope and Happiness after the Loss of a Loved One and is working on her second book.

When Hope Cross Dezember's husband becoming diagnosed with ALS, life became clear and she realized she wasn't meant to continue her job as a mental health therapist. She quit to be his fulltime caregiver. As he became more advanced in the disease, they began having to spend more time at home. Hope began her journey with yoga to bring peace and strength through the journey and was searching for a creative outlet and fell in love with painting/making malas and writing. Writing about our journey started as a blog and has led to me working on a book. Mostly we work to make everyday beautiful and special and have gratitude for each one.

Missi Wolf is a single mother of two amazing daughters. She started her own fitness business in 2008 and her entrepreneurial spirit was released! After she had her two daughters (1999), she was extremely heavy—5'0 and 206 lbs. She was morbidly obese, pre-diabetic and at risk for a stroke.  She started on a health and wellness journey; 2 years later, she had lost 100 lbs and fell in love with a healthy lifestyle.  She wanted others to have the opportunity to create their own journey in a safe, positive and knowledgeable atmosphere. She loves talking to others about their dreams, their health and their lives in general!  

Jennifer Levison, known to many as “Souper Jenny,” is the owner of six community cafes in Atlanta. You can find a Souper Jenny in Decatur, Brookhaven, Buckhead and the recently opened Westside. Jenny also owns the popular Cafe Jonah And The Magical Attic named after her Son and Juicy Jenny, both in Buckhead.She has received consistent praise from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta Magazine, Creative Loafing and other publications since the opening in 1998. Levison’s philanthropy landed her in The Oprah Magazine’s June 2012 issue. A regular guest on NBC’s Today Show, Levison is also the author of two books, Souper Jenny Cooks and Souper Jenny Does Salads.
