For so long the pious have been ashamed of their naked souls
They have adorned themselves too well 
With a beautiful mask they call pure. 

This is not a hymn of praise to those who think they have the truth 
They do not know how to conquer themselves
So they try to govern you and me.

Cumbersome loads they have been tying to our necks
They delight themselves while 
The camels carry the weights for them

And these fake hermits have been around for far too long
Hiding themselves from the light of day
Offering shelter in exchange of blood

We’ve been lied to for the last time

Our longing for somebody else’s heights has betrayed us  
We’ve lost sight of ourselves

Before becoming the perfect friend one must

We must overcome ourselves

We must loosen our chains we must rise up
 
Whitewashed tombs were called the teachers of truth 
But I hear no wisdom from their mouths

Every tear we’ll shed, every world we’ll destroy will be for the sake of us becoming free 
We’re no longer believers, we are new born knowers. Hence a milestone in the history of consciousness.
We are builders we’re destroyers we delight ourselves in seeking the undiscovered. We’ll go to the distant seas.
Free for death free in death free for life free in life our lights will ascend to the universe
