I'm Going Back to Tennessee

This is probably the most "Real Deal" music in the country realm/Americana I have encountered in my 35 years in Nashville. I have to thank my dear friend, Greg Grisham for introducing me to Sam Jacobs and Bud Hollars... I produced this album back in the 90s to document these songs that Sam and Bud sang and played for me in the cabin shown here in the picture, one beautiful musical evening.  The songs were written by Bud Hollars, Raymond Hollars and Sam Jacobs. Rob McClain of more recent OmegaLab fame is who recorded and mixed the project. Bud lost his life to cancer years ago. And now Sam Jacobs also lost to cancer. RIP. These are timeless songs and true American folk/mountain artists whom I love...  - TONY GERBER
