We dusted off our old floppy disks and decided to share the stored emotions with the world. The title ‘Lost Files’ hits the nail on the head.”

After the electro-pop banger “Killer Queen”, the Austrian duo Wild Culture is taking a softer note with their next single Boystears and the conclusion of the EP “Lost Files No. 1”. The song tells the story of a heartbreaker who metaphorically collects the tears of loved ones under her bed.

Since appearing on Kittball back in 2012 Austrian duo Wild Culture have found themselves prominent members of the imprint’s tight knit family. Releases have included two original EPs titled ‘Faith’ and ‘This Moment’, remixing Tube & Berger’s seminal hit ‘Lovebreak’ plus having a host of their own work remixed earlier this year by the likes of Nico Pusch, David Jach and Purple Disco Machine.  
Returning to Kittball with another exceptional piece of original work, ‘Fade’ initiates gently before unfolding into a stunning beauty of a track. Intricate guitar plucking followed by solid kicks builds up some serious momentum, whilst emphatic piano breakdowns and glorious chords cooperate to produce a number that sounds blissful and invigorating.
In addition to the original a vocal edit incorporates Lucia’s empowering voice to add a further element of passion to the sultry summertime anthem. As well as this German producer Lexer has been tapped for remix duties, focusing more on sliding guitar riffs and melodic chimes to forge an organic and uplifting vibe befitting of the Kittball sound.

The Austrian deep-house duo Wild Culture is back with their new Single “See you again”.

While touring Australia, Florian and Felix got inspired by the boundless vastness, which led to the idea for “See You Again”. “This track was made as a memento to a very important and inspiring person. He should always be remembered and honored by this deeply emotional song.”, says Fellier. 

The touching ballad, with its calm piano chords, subtle electronic rhythms and lots of organic elements, ensures that Wild Culture’s unique style is present throughout the whole song. The warm and catchy voice of Austrian singer and songwriter Ramon delights from the very beginning and rounds off the track. The single comes with other remixes from Younotus and Perttu who have reinterpreted the song by adding their own style and have shown how diverse Wild Culture’s production is. 

Wild Culture’s recent single “Know Love”, which was released in March this year, followed the previous success with their single “Sugar” in similar ways. The first single on the EP titled ‘What U Do’, marks Felix's debut as a singer on a Wild Culture track, making it one of the most personal songs in the duo's history. The track was written together with US singer Shel Bee, who also takes over the female part of the vocals.

The sound of jangling spokes of an old bicycle opens up the song and passes into a sampled rhythm, accompanied by warm piano sounds. This empathic sound-sphere lays the foundation for the harmonious duet between Felix and Shel Bee. The essence of this emotional conversation is the unconditional acceptance of love, to appreciate a person as a whole despite their rough edges. 

The chorus is as catchy as it is powerful and inevitably sticks with listeners.
Wild Culture use organic sounds as a colour palette on their acoustic canvas to capture the essence of their emotional world. The variety of timbres gives the track a special touch – with each listen you will discover another layer.

"Killer Queen" is the 2nd track of the Lost Files EP, which was made together with Kristine Bogan (USA) from French Pirates and Alisa Ueno (Japan) who was collaborating with Sofi Tukker on their world hit “Best Friends”

The idea for “Killer Queen” came up during a session that was originally intended to be for a different song. “The song writing session was not what we were hoping for it to be at the time, as the flow was missing. During a break there was a song by Queen that made us think about how difficult the working environment of the music business can be.

It’s a double-edged sword - on the one hand very lucrative, but on the other hand also comes with many empty promises and the feeling of being dropped,” the duo explains. With these thoughts, Killer Queen popped into our minds.
Killer Queen is making a statement for honest music and for the will not to let it get you down, even if sometimes it doesn't turn out as you hoped for and you find yourself on the edge. The motto is to
continue and fight. 

Edgy synths work with crisp basslines together to build up to a fat drop that makes the bass tremble on the dance floor. Kristine's vocals compliment the production and give it a snappy but glamorous

Inspired by the completion of their lifelong dream – building and engineering the Wilderness Studios, a “creative space” for musicians all over the world, located in the middle of the Alps - Flo and Felix of Wild Culture initiate the next phase of their musical work.
The first release will be a 3-track EP titled ‘Lost Files ° 1’. The overarching concept includes multiple EPs which are to be released in succession throughout 2020/21 that will showcase Wild Culture’s new, extraordinary pop sound.

“We uncovered a lot of song ideas, sketches and emotions on our computers, some of which we were unable to publish, either due to the constellation we were in, or because they simply did not align with our sound/concept at that time. We dusted off our old floppy disks and decided to share the stored emotions with the world. The title ‘Lost Files’ hits the nail on the head.”

After the electro-pop banger “Killer Queen”, the Austrian duo Wild Culture is taking a softer note with their next single Boystears and the conclusion of the EP “Lost Files No. 1”. The song tells the story of a heartbreaker who metaphorically collects the tears of loved ones under her bed.

The duo said, “The song was made in Los Angeles in a rented bungalow together with LIV. The bungalow didn’t have the best studio equipment, so we built a recording room out of our bed mattress and curtains. The simple but very free "flair" inspires creativity. Often less is more "

The track was created in collaboration with rising US singer-songwriter talent Liv Miraldi, who already contributed a Top40 hit in Canada for artist Famba and collaborated with greats like Nina Nesbitt.

In “Boystears” Wild Culture combine ballad-like elements with electronic sounds and manage the balancing act between calm passages and catchy pop lines. Powerful beats, a retro feeling and and unforgettable melodies.
