Brooklyn, NY – This is where it all begins. Sounds of Khemit is thrilled to announce the release of SoK034 - Special Thinks EP, a captivating two-track collaboration from Wild Dark and ariaano. Dropping soon, this EP marks the first step in an exciting journey of genre-bending innovation and creative fusion for the two Artists leading into 2025.

The story behind the music is as inspiring as the tracks themselves. Last February, Wild Dark and ariaano shared an unforgettable three-week creative retreat in Westchester, NY. Amidst jam sessions, sonic experiments, and countless cups of coffee, they discovered a shared musical language that transcended genres. The result? Two electrifying tracks:

“Special Thinks”: A deep, groovy exploration that’s as hypnotic as it is uplifting. This track embodies the seamless synergy of two artists fully in tune with their craft.

“Tita Gone”: A soulful, emotional odyssey that dives deep into textured rhythms and haunting melodies.
These tracks set the tone for Sounds of Khemit’s bold vision for 2025—combining influences, breaking molds, and redefining what organic house / melodic house music can be.

Wild Dark, the celebrated New York duo, now at the helm of Corey on his Solo Journey, has a reputation for weaving atmospheric soundscapes with dancefloor power. Paired with the dynamic artistry of Ariaano, of Cubicolor and 16BL fame, whose roots run deep in emotive, melodic grooves, this collaboration is an absolute must-hear.

Premiere: Wild Dark, Julian Prince - Schrödinger's Kiss [Diversions Music]

Following the success of their EP 'Stay' on Dreaming Awake, Sarkis Mikael, St. Terrible, and WEND reunite for their latest collaboration, 'Rises Up.' The track features St. Terrible’s evocative lead vocals, with Riley of WEND adding moody harmonies and enchanting live harp. Sarkis Mikael completes the sound with his signature electronic textures and rhythmic guitar layers.

Bringing a fresh interpretation to the release, Wild Dark teams up with ariaano to offer a hypnotic Organic House groove with a darker vibe. Each remix adds a unique twist to this captivating track.

Whenever I watch a movie or show, I catch these moments where the music just hits different. It sparks something in me..I imagine how I’d flip it, twist it, reimagine it into something new. Inspiration is everywhere…you just have to listen. The Animals “House of The Rising Sun” is an all time favorite of mine.. here is where my imagination took me.

Wild Dark is the sonic venture of NYC's Negrin brothers, Corey and Ryan, who have spent over two decades weaving tales on the dancefloor. And yes, the industry heavyweights have noticed—Sasha, Damian Lazarus, Bedouin, Black Coffee, John Digweed, Audiofly, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Township Rebellion, Guy Gerber, Joris Voorn, Los Suruba, and countless others have all given their nods of approval.

Wild Dark also frequently teams up with Ariaan Olieroock under the Ariaano or 16BL moniker, making waves on labels like , Flying Circus and IAMHER Records with releases such as their standout remix of Husa & Zeyada’s “Inside Out”,  and original hit “Always” on Anjunadeep.
