Wilder Sons was created on a humid back porch in South Florida in 2014 by indie scene veterans Brian Blount (Vox/Guitar) and Jake Rubinton (Vox/Guitar). Both experienced front men of their previous bands, the two joined forces along side accomplished musicians, Nic Viens (Drums) and Dan Spring (Bass) to construct an unique rock sound that is stimulating the senses of the alternative/Indie scene. Transcendent guitar riffs weave effortlessly between catchy melodies, upbeat bass lines and drum progressions; all of which paint a captivating backdrop to Brian’s reminiscent lyricism

Their 2014 self-titled EP created a strong local following helping the group land opening gigs with bands like The Story So Far, Copeland, Turnover, Further Seems Forever, and Mewithoutyou to name a few. In 2016, Wilder Sons, along with the help of their devoted fans, ran a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund the recording and release of their second EP, “Scatterbrain”.

Wilder Sons continued to grind tirelessly, gradually building a stronger fan base around the country while constantly honing their skills as musicians and songwriters. Their perseverance paid off in 2018 with the release of their latest EP “ In Between” produced by Will Kubley of Passafire. In Between hit Billboard status on the Heatseekers charts reaching #4 in the South Atlantic and #8 in the Mid Atlantic. On iTunes the EP reached #15 on the Alternative Rock charts and #116 on the US charts. That summer Wilder Sons was honored to perform at the last cross country Warped Tour in West Palm Beach, FL.

Currently, Wilder Sons is working on new material that will undoubtedly push their boundaries, creating a sound that will continue to pulsate through the prism of the Southwest Florida scene and beam out to a national audience.
