Long live forever and a day

The mysterious 'Cup and Rings' rock art created over 3,000 years ago in Europe have fascinated archeologists over many years. In 1981 an unusual specimen was uncovered in an urban woodland in the Yorkshire city of Sheffield which I make a point of visiting regularly. This neolithic masterpiece lies tucked away in Ecclesall Woods and is characterised by a variant of the usual concentric circles design, which gives a unique outline to its carving. This funkier version of Stone Age expression deserves a celebration in music which is attempted here....

This is an edited version of a 5 year old song of mine. The region I live in once grew through coal and steel. The workers in the steel mills have a tough and sweaty job. Blacksmiths have completed the material. This powerful rock track is dedicated to them. The hammer blow on the anvil sets the rhythm.

Truth & Lies - Mix - 1 Master 1 Eq

I didn't mean to make it sound like this. I tried to make an ambient song, but I put in a reggae-style guitar, played an FX synth, and freely connected the sounds.
　At first, I was planning to change the tone of the synth to a normal, unadorned one and replace it later. However, when I listened to the whole thing, I noticed that the melody of the plain synth expanded the spatiality of the ambient.
　I was able to unintentionally create new ambient music for myself.

Unexpected music was completed in my DAW.(No.209)

F is for Farewell (also for Fuck Off)

There I was, diligently practicing my palm muted walking basslines when The Boys dropped by.

The practice session never stood a chance.

Choose you and never abandon yourself for someone else. Let how someone else treats you be about them and not about what you did wrong. You are worthy of love and should never settle for less than what you deserve.

All too often we blame ourselves for how we are treated, but people show us who they are and when they do we have to believe them and not place blame on ourselves when people are unkind to us.

This is just a friendly reminder from someone who has walked this path and learned a few things along the way 🙂
