The geothermal activity in Iceland is well known, but the natural sounds created by this activity are known by few. 
Recordings are done in A-B Stereo with Schoeps MK4 microphones.

This was recorded on the first night that myself and the team arrived at the Villa Carmen Research station in the Peruvian Amazon.

Nature reserve in Flói 2011 – Part 2

Recorded at Fort Cronkhite north of San Francisco. The doors to the old bunker have recently been sealed off for safety reasons so no door movement could be recorded. In spite of this I grabbed a tire iron and got to improvising latch and impact sounds. Schoeps CMC6/MK41-MK8 MS.
