Introducing "Saturn Return" - The debut release on Wildfiyah World, Fiyahdred’s imprint. 

Wildfiyah is proud to announce the release of "Saturn Return," the latest musical offering from Fiyahdred. Following a string of successful releases on prominent labels such as Hyperdub, Club Djembe, Rhythm Section, and More Time Records, Fiyahdred's newest creation is set to captivate audiences with its unique blend of deep synths, percussive textures and infectious melodies. 

"Saturn Return'' showcases Fiyahdred's signature sound, characterised by deep, dark synths and captivating toplines that stay with you long after the music ends. The track's breakdowns reflect the artist's diverse influences, incorporating elements of Afro, Deep, Tech & Funky House to create a sound that is undeniably Fiyahdred. 

On the B side, listeners are treated to "Saturn Return (Drum Dub)," stripping it back to reveal more of the rhythmic, percussive elements while keeping the mysterious droning pad for atmosphere and the bass to keep the groove consistent. 

Speaking about the release, Fiyahdred states: 

"Though this track was birthed simply out of curiosity, fun and the desire to explore more about the genres I feel connected to, ‘Saturn Return’ turned out to be a song that marked yet another (significantly bigger) shift in my life - I feel as if the sonics reflect the wonder, mystery, depths and suspense that I have been experiencing over the last year. I’m so excited to share this piece of music - it points to the start of a new chapter for me as Fiyahdred and the beginning of Wildfiyah as an imprint." 

"Saturn Return'' is now available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Bandcamp.

following the casual release of ‘Want U 2 Kno’, a rework/edit of James Blakes’ haunting ‘Overgrown’ vocals layered over a bespoke Fiyahdred composition, we are happy to share ‘Deepest Depths’ - the original instrumental for your listening enjoyment. 

this song is for patient listening - with nearly 6 minutes of Fiyahdred’s signature percussive textures and moody, swelling synths that give a gentle nod to UK Dubstep, Grime and House, paired up with elements inspired by and borrowed from South(ern) Africa’s 3-step, Afro Tech and Gqom. carefully melded together to create a piece that showcases Fiyahdred's local and global influences.

Wildfiyah is the blazing new imprint from South London artist and producer @Fiyahdred, created as a home for bold, rhythm-driven electronic music that moves with raw, kinetic energy. Rooted in the rich traditions of House, Afro-electronic & Caribbean rhythms and sounds, Wildfiyah is more than just a label—it’s a sonic movement, a space for warmth, momentum, and forward-thinking club music.

Born out of Fiyahdred’s interest and passion for sound system culture and the legacy of Black and queer pioneers in dance music, Wildfiyah is dedicated to platforming artists who push the boundaries of percussive club sounds. Expect deep grooves, hypnotic basslines, and infectious rhythms that carry the unmistakable spirit of movement, community, and raw dancefloor energy.

The label’s first official release, Saturn Return, sees Fiyahdred stepping into new creative territory, blending cosmic sonics with pulsating drums to reflect the shifts and transformations of a true Saturn return moment. Leading up to this, Wildfiyah launched Wildfiyah Presents: Ember - The Extended Mix Series, which is an exploration of the influences and inspirations that fuel the label’s sonic direction in the form of 3 hour mixes.

With each release, Wildfiyah is set to ignite a new era of electronic music, amplifying fresh voices and creating space for a future where the fire never burns out.
