Coming out of Utica and working the word "bag" in wherever he can, MC Crisis rocketed to fame in 2016. Born Richard Hendricks, the MC began posting and uploading his hooky, Southern-influenced brand of hip-hop in 2013. He hit late that year with the track "Chasing A Dream," and then in early 2014 he dropped The Fix mixtape. He also dropped the mixtape The Outcome and signed with Ruby Recordings in 2017, the label which issued his hit single "Options" that same year.
