TRISH DECAPRIO has studied violin from elementary school through college.  Her early musical influences are CLASSICAL meets ROCK ‘N ROLL.  Trish studied CLASSICAL VIOLIN by day with instructors Arleen Green (Quincy Symphony Orchestra), Martha Edwards (High Tea and Whisky) and Clayton Hoener (Boston Pops Orchestra)  and sang along with her dad to his 50’s DOO WOP collection by night.  The shift from CLASSICAL VIOLIN to FOLK FIDDLE came when Trish received an invitation from friend & musician, Michael Whitney to “sit in” with the maritime influenced, folk trio AS THE CROW FLIES.  The group introduced her to the singer-songwriter world of folk music including the likes of JOHN PRINE, and STAN ROGERS.  Trish has since found her way to many current influences on the FOLK, CELTIC and BLUEGRASS scene including CARRIE NEWCOMER, CLAIRE LYNCH, CHERYL WHEELER and CATHIE RYAN.  Six fun, successful years with ATCF and 4 CD projects later Trish has gone on to perform from Ohio to Maine as a fiddler and vocalist with Blackbird, The Goodhues Band and O'Carolan Etcetera and now residing with WILD MAPLE.

Wild Maple is an acoustic duo based on the north shore of Massachusetts. Their repertoire is comprised of a wide range of musical influences; traditional and contemporary folk, bluegrass, 60's & up pop, contemporary singer-songwriter and instrumentals. 
This talented duo possess strong lead and harmony vocals with smooth instrumentation on guitar and fiddle. When needed bass & percussion are added. Gary & Trish create an atmosphere of warmth and belonging as they sprinkle each show with a healthy dose of relaxed fun and humor.
