The expectations placed upon us as women and as mothers is immense. The problems become shockingly evident when you ‘family’ falls out of an archaic 17th century world view.

As single or solo parents, many of us are the only person our children can rely on. And single parents even more so than others are dealing with and navigating the world of parenting alone with no one to share the strains be it emotionally or physically.
