Sarah Wild’s Afterglow taps into a history of piano-led rave euphoria without leaning on nostalgia, nodding to blurry heads-down memories while keeping the arrangement lean and the sentiment fresh.

The drums are crisp, the bassline warm, and the hook lands with just enough shimmer to lift a room rather than flood it. Feelings of of the peak years cast anew for one more night. The production hits all the right notes, subtle vox work and neat fills keeping the tension pulling you along. Vhyce trims the edges and adds a slick, late-night glide to the rhythm, tighter phrasing, more slipstream than surge, nudging it into a streamlined pocket that sits neatly between what you expect from a remix, and something a little more.

Both versions drive that emotive sound: the piano-lead hands-up moments we all long for, and a low end that translates on bigger rigs. Club culture is essential to all of us. Its like home. Our culture has been deeply impacted by the coronavirus shockwaves. All clubs are closed. All festivals have been canceled. Its impossible to predict when we will all be able to finally meet again in the club. To dance, to hug, to go berserk.

In order to keep our culture and the club feeling alive (at least a bit) United We Stream- in cooperation with ARTE Concert - has been doing an incredible good job since the disaster began. Thank you for this big supoort!! <3

Once an infamous host for underground raves in Berlin, Sarah Wild is now a DJ and producer. Her energetic sets oscillate between acid basslines and piano elements. Sarah has already released on @returntoforever1 @correspondant,  @permvac, @dessert-berlin @feinestier and her own label @midnightoperators.  When she was a girl her father took her on tour with his surf-rock band. She grew up hanging out in backstages of clubs and venues all around Europe. Not only through this first touring experience Sarah was always surrounded by music. She learned saxophone and piano supported by her grandmother who is also a singing teacher. All her youth Sarah played in bands and was part of several jazz projects. Also her passion for electronic dance music developed at this time. Sarah was born and raised in Jena, a former east-German city who became popular for its delicate scene of electronic music. She quickly became part of it as a dancer and also started her first little projects as an artist. Sarah Wild started her solo project in 2016 and has been touring in Europe, Mexico, Panama and Guatemala.
