"Manchester native Luke Daniels has spent the best part of a decade navigating and championing the underground electronic music scene within his home city. He has a deep love for techno and electro which varies from melodic rhythms to rougher, grittier selections.

He first began performing when working at the iconic record store Eastern Bloc Records. After further solidifying himself on the local scene, he then went on to secure himself a residency at queer techno party Frixxxion - curated by Meat Free's Blasha & Allatt. 

Alongside his residency, Luke Daniels co-founded Manchester based and grass roots focused event Hyper Violet. Their main objective being to offer opportunities to artists across The North who wish to showcase their flair and passion for house, techno, electro, breaks, rave, and any genre in-between.

In this mix he explores more steady paced, space exploring electro which slowly gears up to more bass heavy tracks layered with plenty of acid"

Faux Poly celebrates its first year, launches new remix series
Spring ‘23 sees Faux Poly release the first in a series of remix compilations, 8 tracks from different artists
across multiple genres.

‘Faux Poly: Remixed 001’ marks the start of the label’s new regular quarterly remix series, where a wide variety of producers are invited to pick anything from the label catalogue and reimagine it, making the core sounds of the label transcend their original setting and permeate through different club scenes around the world.

Highlights for FPR001 include Skudge’s unmistakable sound with Kassian’s flagship track ‘Off World Vehicles’, which has already garnered ongoing support from the likes of Ben UFO and Dixon, New Zealander newcomer Emanuel’s incredibly rowdy flip of Jay Carder’s A1 single ‘Eva’s Stoned’, and a club focussed change of tone from Demi Riquísimo, taking a left turn from his regular house influenced style with a choppy breakbeat remix of Jay Carder’s ‘So Carelessly’.

Faux Poly launched in early 2022 as means for label bosses Kassian to focus on a more specific heavier club sound. One year on, the label has put out 5 EP’s (Kassian, Jay Carder, Ste Roberts) and now boasts a monthly release schedule for the whole of 2023, with forthcoming EP’s from Sister Zo, Adam Curtain, and Guava to name a few.

Rebecca Goldberg is a producer, live performer, DJ and graphic designer from Detroit. Since her debut EP, 313 Acid Queen, she has been affiliated with the multidisciplinary arts collective, Detroit Underground. Rebecca is a seasoned radio DJ having mixed for FM and internet-radio shows hosted across the globe. She has released music and multimedia projects ranging from Detroit techno to avant garde electronic music. Carrying with her the tradition of Detroit Techno, Goldberg tours internationally as a DJ and live performer and has been featured at notable events from Detroit’s seminal Movement Festival to Tresor in Berlin.

Moving freely in the flux of unpredictable creativity and constant wide spreading interests, Elisa Bee has been mixing for over 15 years, beginning in her native Sardinia before moving to Milan. First picking up the decks back in 2007, it wasn't until 2012 that
she decided to delve into the world of music production.
Charmed by her work, UK-based DJ Haus signed her ‘Mind Game EP’ to influential imprint Unknown To The Unknown. Since then, she has released music under Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains, Posthuman’s Balkan Vinyl, Ben Sims' both Symbolism and Hardgroove imprints, Truncate's label and UTTU again – and she remixed artists like Ewan McVicar and WTCHCRFT.
Her own productions have been much welcomed by international audiences and artists alike, gaining considerable airplay both on the dancefloor and on the radio (BBC Radio1, NTS, Rinse FM, Kiosk Radio). In 2023 Elisa debuted on Boiler Room and her RA Podcast for Resident Advisor attested her as one of Italy’s finest selectors and producers: “[...] exploring and then refining a style of techno that has that rare, hard-to-put- your-finger-on quality: a soulful reverence, paying homage to the old days and the originators without just copying them”.
In October 2023 Elisa released a new EP on Ben Sims’ Hardgroove imprint, right after her amazing Berghain debut.
Record collector of every genre, from jazz to reggae through hip-hop, rock and obviously house and techno, Elisa is fascinated by the sounds of the past as she is by the experimental and quirky waves shaping the future music. It’s very difficult then to find a label perfectly matching her description, but for sure she’ll keep on rocking dance floors around the world, releasing new records and generally spreading good vibes wherever she is.

Originally from the UK, started collecting records around the age of 16. Moved to Manchester for Uni and began DJ'ing and throwing squat raves and house parties before getting a few club residencies playing along some respected quality artists. Moved to Shanghai and ran parties at the legendary Dada club with some legendary international guest acts for 7 years. Now based in Osaka spinning records and focusing on Rhythm Werx Acid House partiesmonthly at Circus Osaka and various veunues bars and locations. Along the way Will's DJ'd at UK festivals notibaly Gottwood festival alongside Mr G, Wallace, Jozef K, and shared stages with Objekt, Posthuman, Roy Davis Jr. and many more great artists. Recently released a record on Pfeiffer Records.  Expect sets full of House, Techno, Acid & Garage records.
