Под впечатлением звучания 80х, итало-диско, синтипоп и французской группы Deux, была рождена группа "Fun in the sun", дебютировавшая на Snuff Cuts и Bordello a Parigi в 2019 году. Это третий релиз группы на локальном лейбле DO ME. В их звучании хорошо узнаваемые Roland TR-606, 707 и Roland CR-78, простые мелодии синтезатора SH-101 и песни о любви.

"Fun in the sun" was born inspired by the sound of the 80s, Italo-disco, synthpop, and french band Deux. "Fun in the sun" debuting on Snuff Cuts and Bordello a Parigi in 2019. This is the band's third release on the Saint-Petersburg local label "Do Me" . Their sound includes well-recognized Roland TR-606, 707 and Roland CR-78, simple synthesizer melodies and love songs.

Hot on the heels of Echo Locations, its debut release in the form of a VA compilation of edits gathering artists from the four corners of the globe, Tursiops' label head Ed Isar calls on all dreamers, trippers and dancers to join him on a journey through Cosmic Oceans.

Initially planned later in time, this release was put together as a thank you to the label's early supporters while Echo Locations 2 is in preparation.

Here we have one mashup and three edits from Ed Isar's vaults. They have accumulated tens of thousands plays in total, and always generate overwhelming crowd reactions and constant requests to share them with DJs and music lovers.

They have been lovingly remastered for the occasion.

As usual, clues have been left in the titles so that curious minds can identify the source material.

Cult Glaswegian post punk outfit Junto Club return to Snap, Crackle & Pop with their second release for the label. Known in some cirlces as your favourite DJ’s favourite band you’ve never heard of, they follow up appearances at the late Andrew Weatherall’s Convenanza festival and releases on Optimo.
The Alameda EP finds the Junto Club expanding on the sound that has come to define the band, which is to say sparse electronics and percussive post punk underscoring David Wilson’s haunting
suicide inspired vocals. On this EP the synths and drum machines take centre stage pulling their sound from the shadows and firmly onto the dancefloor, wasting no time with opening track Hercules’ 11 minute electro onslaught, taking cues from the likes of Ladytron, New Order and Fischerspooner.
On the flip, enigmatic new producer Fall Forward delivers an overdriven, rave tinted remix of Hercules that breathlessly strobes through distorted Junos on a peaktime trip. For the final track
longtime SC&P collaborator Curses delivers a punishing physical remix of Alone that is delves deep into the harder side of his techno tendencies and is sure to be assaulting the darkest of dancefloors once the clubs reopen.

With the Winter months well and truly established, the skies of Madrid have turned from eggshell blue to metallic grey. Frigio reflects this change in the seasons with its latest release, the glazed reductions and retrospections of Principia Audiomatica.
The Croatian outfit were founded in 1995 by Siniša Očuršćak and Miljenko Rajaković. After releasing music for the cult italian label Minus Habens Records in the 90's, their musical partnership ended in the untimely death of Očuršćak. In 2010 Rajaković restarted the project with renewed zeal and he release 2017 new CD album “Distorted Information” for french Unknown Pleasures Records.
The style pursued for this seven track 12” lies between industrially tinted electro and blackened wave. Cold and brutal in one breath, warm and yearning in the next, the EP draws on a spread
of influences to create texture and tone. A gulf of sounds is explored: from ghosting samples, looming lines and incising snares to dreamy and understated atmospherics. On last 2 tracks at A side feature Bernarda Barlović. The flip is remix focussed. Taken from the 2017 album of the same name, “Distorted Information” is the source material with the Hal9000 computer being a common component of all three interpretations.
Snippets from the Kubrik’s film orbit, from the brooding remake by Asprin for Oslo and the staggered steps of Alert Command to the glitched funk care of Red Sector A. Dark electronics for questionable times.
