this is a mix about waking up. 
it's been a long, dark winter in Berlin, but spring is just around the corner. it's in the air: every day gets a little lighter, and brings with it the promise of warmer times ahead and the memory of warmer times past. 
this mix was unplanned and spontaneous - made one Saturday night at home after returning from a few days out of town. the tunes aren't new; I've used some of them in previous mixes. but I tried to reimagine their context, and make them flow together in a fresh way (with some new tunes). hope you like, hope it warms you up. -glux

soundtrack to a spring Saturday in Berlin. 
been working on this mix for a while, it's all music that I've discovered lately. this one was a struggle to get right / I still don't think I nailed it - but maybe the rough edges give it some character. 
this one's about the city coming to life as the warm weather kicks in, with balcony doors and windows suddenly open, sidewalks bustling and brightened looks on everyone's faces.

just back in berlin from my first trip to southeast asia. it's an amazing, overwhelming part of the world - every minute is a sensory assault. it's also a place of contrasts: light and dark, harmony and dissonance, calm and chaos. tried to capture that feeling with this mix, while including some sounds from the region + some sounds that accompanied me while I was on the road. hope you like.

before it becomes anything else, autumn introduces itself as a fragrance. in late summer's low evening rays, weathered leaves exhale and bid farewell to one another, leaving traces of a job well done in the air as they drift to earth. 
this is a mix about the light getting low, about it getting a little darker each day, and about that being just fine. I'm feeling a little weathered myself, homebound with a head cold after a long, busy summer. tried to capture a little bit of that in this mix - best enjoyed as the glow of dusk sets in.
