So, I decided to experiment by restricting myself to just one synth and one drum machine, still ended up with about 5 layers of polyphony though!

Worlds of Time

I've been playing around with the delay on my guitar amp, and experimenting to see what different sounds you can make, it's actually quite interesting what you can do with such a simple effect. I basically set the feedback to 100% and the delay time to as long as possible so that it's effectively just a long loop, the more you play the more complex and interesting the sound becomes, and you can play around with various playing styles etc. The really interesting thing is because it must be a digital processor, as you shorten the delay time it compresses the waveform and distorts it, if you then increase the time delay again the compressed waveform is stretched out and you get a different sound to what you originally had.

Rufous is a reddish-brown or brownish-red, and is a very poor description of this track, this track is more of a neon or electric blue and green.
