Will Scott - Summer Time

I’m a pub singer in the beautiful county of Pembrokeshire.

I trained as a musical instrument technician at Leeds College of Music.

Most of my adult life I’ve made my living as a luthier specialising in guitar repairs more than making.
Fixing something broken always seemed more interesting than starting from scratch. 
These days I making my living as a gigging musician. 
I sing, play guitar and I’m trying to get to grips with bass. I think my bass playing tends to be a bit busy but I do have fun doing it!

2017 I started a Music Technology degree at the University of Wales,Trinity St. David in Swansea. I mostly hated it but gained a first class honours and the things I learned set me on track to do some recording.
Many of the recordings I’ve done are of live performances, mainly open mics I’ve run.
I suppose that follows my interest in taking something, warts and all, and improving it.
I feel a live performance is a more honest representation than a studio version.
Hopefully, the people I’ve recorded have been able to use my work to get a few gigs.

I have an interest in guitar synths, loopers etc. but I’ve not become competent enough with the synths to use one at a gig yet…maybe one day..
