Melodic slow burns, epic crescendos, and modern sound design provide the ideal underscore for show promos, film trailers, and game teasers.
 
A film composer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Will runs the gamut of contemporary to classical. No stranger to rock, EDM, and the orchestra, Will can be found in his Minneapolis studio composing and arranging for film and advertising. He has tracked guitar for the likes of JD Fortune (InXS), written music for national commercial spots, and spoken on composing for media at several US colleges.  For Last to Fall, Will drew heavily both upon his classical training and pop sensibilities.  He aimed to put a new spin on trailer music by including head-turning, custom sound design  and a strong sense of melody alongside all the drive and bombast we expect from rock-solid trailer tracks.

Trauma

Will Van De Crommert is a multi-instrumentalist and composer for film and television.

From Saturday Night Live to the Soho and Sedona International Film Festivals, his music has accompanied productions on the the small and silver screens.  Beyond his work in film and television, Will’s music and arrangements have appeared in hundreds of commercial spots for networks and brands like Mercedes, Arby’s, CBS, and the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. He has spoken on film music at the Institute of Production and Recording, Bethel University, McNally Smith School of Music, and the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival.  

Will grew up in Minneapolis and began producing music at the age of 14. Studying classical piano and head banging on stage with indie punk acts, his musical influences ran the gamut of jazz and rock to big band and orchestral styles.  Following a music composition degree from St. John’s University, he moved to Los Angeles and spent several months working under composing veteran Jeff Rona, whose work appears on blockbusters such as Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, and The Prince of Egypt.  Will later moved back to his native Minnesota home where he met his wife and planted roots. He now writes for film and commercial productions all over the US and has become a go-to composer for his bombastic orchestral, electronic, and rock-infused approach to underscore.

He lives and creates in Minneapolis.
