OMG if this got any funkier...wait a minute.. IT CAN'T......! So Sweet!

When @djfuckshimself joined in a casual production challenge, where a track has to be made from limited samples within 4 hours, he probably didn't expect to be releasing the result a few months later... And yet here we are!

"Café del Mardcore", as the cheeky title suggests, is simultaneously balearic and banging (a hallmark of DJFH's style). With no synths or instruments added, this tune encapsulates the digging method that our favourite vinyl fanatic is so proficient at – a perfect example of modern sampledelia.

The tune is part of the 4-track "Weisse Weste EP" on @NaturalPositions which will be DJFH and the label's first ever on wax (pre-order now!). Additionally there will be two bonus remixes on the digital version including one by our very own jpeg.love <3 Naturally RAIDERS got first dibs on premieres from the release and we are chuffed to be able to debut this on our soundcloud, so put that in your data-pipe and toke it!

"Hot on the heels of their debut on Lobster Theremin, Sydney born and bred radio host, DJ/producer AK SPORTS readies five devastating cuts of distinct Nu-Sports club; finding their Higher Power - a new-age rave pairing formed from within a blazing ball of hell-fire.

Releases and remixes have followed on Dansu Discs, Mad Decent and CLUB GLOW (where they produced a collaborative EP with rising artist Kessler), and their Balamii radio show has welcomed guests from Dagga, Allan Fitzpatrick, Moktar, Mell G, Nova Cheq and Nikki Nair.

Inspired by the lack of female faces in a male-dominated scene, AK SPORTS has been at the forefront of a big-room, warehouse sound being championed in Australia (X CLUB, Mall Grab) that has been borrowing from the golden eras of trance and hardcore, whilst also catapulting that same energy straight into the dance through a contemporary lens.

‘West Coast’ tears itself into two forms - one a heavyweight 4x4 power mix, the other a ravey cut of breakbeat hardcore that melts across a scattered rhythm. ‘Une Amie’ floats like a killer-bee amongst swirls of synthy colours and patterns on a deep, driving and frenzied techno flow.

‘Eurostar’ is the soundtrack to what would happen if the high-speed, multi-national rail service was somewhere transported the a Mario Kart multiverse – a cut of trance-fused Euro-techno – before ‘Lockdown in the Big Smoke’ takes us on a melancholic trip into the dead of night on a killer techno-spooker."

PREMIERE: AK Sports - West Coast (Breakbeat Mix) [HIGHER003]

The location had been scouted out, the plans and preparation were in place, all they needed was for the crowd to show up. On the edge of the city amongst the woodland and the trees, there were abandoned buildings just waiting to be filled with music and bodies, far far away from prying eyes. As the end of the working day approached and darkness took hold, people began making the pilgrimage out into the sticks to lose their inhibitions and cast off their worries; for the next 12 hours the outside world didn't exist.

Hot on the heels of releases from Morelia and Rory K, London label Das Booty welcome aboard Glasgow's Fear-E for Horns Crew Go Wild. Releases for a list of acclaimed labels like Dark Entries, Super Rhythm Trax, DABJ and Don't Be Afraid, as well as his own Posh End Music, have already helped cement his reputation for producing cross-genre club cuts. His debut on Das Booty tips the hat to his formative clubbing years and trips to huge raves in the 90s, touching on old school, rave, acid and breakbeat that's packed full of energy.

There had been a change in the air, but it was something you couldn't see. It wasn't visible or tangible, you could just sense it, feel it, breathe it in... Nothing was out of place, everything seemed to be just the way it had always been, so why did it all feel so different? The effect had rippled through the atmosphere and taken over, and until the source was identified there would be no way of ever returning to normal....

Dansu Discs kickstart 2023 with the first collaborative EP from London producers LUXE and Tom Place. Their styles complement one another - LUXE's knack for huge bass lines and trance-influenced synths pair perfectly with Tom's off kilter approach to breaks and electro. On Moonquake the duo share three percussive, bass-driven tracks that bring together all those aforementioned influences, backed by a jungle flip from Banoffee Pies and Planet Euphorique alumni Angel D'lite.

The first vinyl release on Club Glow is here! After a series of tape cassettes exploring the many corners of breakbeat driven rave music and beyond we are pushing things forward with our first 12" EP.

Kicking things off for 001 is Mani Festo's 'All Night EP'. The 4 Tracker features tracks built as far back as 2015, alongside brand new beat science. It's an amalgamation of Mani's influences, with audible nods to Garage, Trip Hop and Dubstep, structured in a way that sounds uniquely his own.

The title track 'All Night' was written back in 2015 and was on regular rotation at Swamp 81 parties at the time. A staple in the sets of Dj's such as Loefah, Orson and Youngsta it has remained an elusive dubplate until now!
