so much is made of what we're made of i can barely stay involved 
cause all i need are batteries and high fidelity to call my own 
i'm tuning in to what begins as something simple as a song 
so that you see me for the purpose i was made for all along

it's such a modern world, but maybe all you need to know 
is how to turn me on, and leave your troubles at the door 

i started small when i was all but just some wires in a fray 
they're building towers for me now so i can reach you when you're far away 
you'd be surprised to hear the kinds of things i really want to say

step out to the balcony

until the buildings sleep

from fire escapes and spiral stairs

for all the company that we consume 
we're lonely as a hotel room

forget the concrete sea

Hopes On High

Will Weston leads a consortium of seven or so musicians based in the Bay Area concerned primarily with hoot owls and producing upbeat/funky/catchy rock music. Since late 2013, Weston & Co. have been enjoying a string of live dates around the city’s top venues and are on the verge of releasing their second full-length album, “Heart of the Order,” in January 2015. With an energetic live presence, an emphasis on playing, and a frustratingly loyal support base of the city’s most attractive humans, Weston is the cream rising to the top of San Francisco’s still-beating rock and roll heart, ascending the hills one hopelessly contagious riff at a time.
