Introduction

Here is your first ghost story. It's my second favorite in the collection. It's one of Baxter's favorites too. The last time I read this story aloud was to Annabelle last summer, on a rainy night in a cabin on the Blasket Islands.

Ghost Time was the title of the television series that Roald Dahl intended to make when he was researching these ghost stories. My podcast is dedicated to my dear friend Baxter, who gave me the book. I've kept all my recordings intact without editing out the moments when I stumble, in order to keep them conversational and personal. The whole project relates to my Philosophy thesis topic on fantasy and the female voice, which examines the intersection between the film genres of horror, and adult cinema. The book contains a total of 14 ghost stories which I will be uploading over the course of the summer. Thanks for listening!
