that you think no-one's heard of.

Don't think you knew how much you were.
Just 'cause heads aren't perfect circles,
and they slept while you woke. 

Wouldn't you like what happened here?
As if you lost something you love.
Look at pictures of the moonlight,
and try to pick out a favourite.

But did you know, like all the rest,
we keep our memories in a safe?
And all the inside is full of writing,
like a ticket you saved.

I'm still that kid, I know what I did
and tried to hide, I cut myself and then I lied
attempted teenage suicide, it may seem strange
but that's the way I felt inside

We’ll take a stroll through town and kick the leaves that line the streets
and maybe have a coffee in a quirky independent café

The music in the background’ll let us know it’s really all ok

And we’ll order cake because it’s Saturday and we deserve a treat
And what’s the point of living if you can’t have cake on a Saturday
