I took a class at the National Guitar Workshop in Conneticut
many years ago. I had a composition class with Leni Stern,,who is Mike Stern's wife...She is a fine guitarist with many albums over the last many years....and I wrote this piece as an assignment for her class.

"Sandy Bells" is the name of an old pub in Edinburgh, famous meeting place during the folk revival in the 60ies.
It's in a similar "Folk Baroque" style that was created by British guitarists like Davey Graham, Bert Jansch, Renbourn and others, like the most popular "Anji".
I couldn't find any previous recording of this piece, by Renbourn or others. Anybody has one?

This is my first upload :-)
Played on my Alhambra A4 Steel String, recorded with Sony PCM-D 50, edited and a little reverb added
