This is a compilation of 5 short sound bites off my new Glide album. Working title 'Assemblage One and Two'. It Will Coming out very soon via 92 Happy Customers. I have been trying to evoke the world of electronic music before the advent of computers. The album is two long tracks of roughly 20 minutes per side. It's an ever evolving soundtrack to your life. GLIDE EDIT

I bought a toy piano in New York quite a few years back. I have always wanted to fit it in to one on my tunes. It has a loverly clunky quality you can hear the inner mechanisms clattering about as the keys strike the chimes inside the piano. My new project 'Things Inside' was limited to the use of just acoustic instruments so the toy piano fitted perfectly. The track became toy Piano as a working title i liked it and added Mantra. It is now and will be for all eternity

Extinction

Eastern bells started out with one note drone on a Hammond Organ. This was going to be replaced as it was just something for me to improvise to. I finished the track and removed the Hammond note, but felt it had come on the journey with me so I kept it. This is the only electronically produced sound on the album all other sounds are from the acoustic world. I have added some reversing, echo and reverb. The bells were recorded on tour somewhere in Italy but I can't remember what the town was called.
