Rasta Pete is a 50 year old Jamaican Cass Corridor OG. Cass Corridor is known as the heart of Detroit, not only because of Wayne State University, but also the vibrant shops that line the Cass and Canfield streets. Rasta Pete has lived in Cass Corridor since the 90’s, and he has seen lots of history. Rasta Pete knew White Boy Rick when he saw him on the streets, and it is clear that Rick became so powerful because he was able to cross boundaries that others were not able to. Furthermore, Rasta Pete connected this with having clean shoes because if you don’t, you won’t be respected.
