 I now go by the name… “Poplur Season”… Born in Jackson, Tennessee but raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota. William Fowler did not have any mainstream connections as he was a first-generation producer from his family. Bold and determined to open giant doors by himself.     
He would say his start was in the year 2020, but it was 2001 going into the 2002 high school graduation year when he realized he had a love and ear for music. He started free-styling and battling in his high school cafeteria and was instantly told he has a nice flow. As he began to get a local buzz from battling in Saint Paul’s basement parties, He would soon get invited to a cipher at a local college, where he was introduced to a young and up-and-coming duo from Minneapolis; they go by the names Matthew D and DJ Reeg of TrakCiti Productions. Once connected to the mighty pair, he would be invited to learn how to play in the big boy studios. From the first day of entering the studio, William’s eyes, heart, and ears would be opened immediately to a program called Pro Tools, where he would soon learn how to produce his own music. This was not an overnight success as William decided to stay unsigned but committed to staying in his lane over the years due to watching the music business and seeing how so many local artists around him were shelved and later starved by the record labels. He decided to keep his vision of mastering his craft and continue working towards being a great producer. Amid the 2020 COVID-19 era, a new talent of energy and greatness has risen, and he is very eager to show the world what he can do with his sounds. William’s favorite line is, “never give up, and keep incredible faith.”
