This playlist is comprised of two audiocassette recordings made by my mother, Muriel Jean Salyers, who died in May of 2000. The first 15 tracks are stories told by her mother, Ruth Genevieve Barlow (née Ridgeway, then Thorpe)in interviews she did with her. The last track is a recording of my mother telling the story of a tornado she experienced as a little girl.
