It's rare that I write music about a specific event in my life, or feeling, I usually just 'go with the flow' and write what feels right to me. For this tune however, I was really struck by the events in my life where I've seen myself almost 'self destruct' in a situation, watching from a distance almost, unable to stop myself. That feeling of helplessness, despite being in complete control. 

All support is massively appreciated, from a simple listen or repost, to buying it on bandcamp/itunes etc. Self releasing music is a difficult process, and so every bit of fan support helps so much <3

I asked my friend HAWEN to write lyrics to this one, but only wanted two lines that would repeated throughout the song. She came up with this poem: "Ocean ocean will you take me in. I float on you, my velvet dream". She says the poem is inspired by her yoga practice.
