Light is inspired by East Asian philosphy. "Water always flows through the path of least resistance". I wanted to make a track based on that concept, where different sounds flows into each others effortlessly.

My love for club culture is ever growing. I find it fascinating to see how men and women interact in the nightlife. In this song, I wanted the dominant rhythm and gritty bassline to represent masculinity, while the lush and gentle breakdown represents feminine seduction.

I asked my friend HAWEN to write lyrics to this one, but only wanted two lines that would repeated throughout the song. She came up with this poem: "Ocean ocean will you take me in. I float on you, my velvet dream". She says the poem is inspired by her yoga practice.
