A Piece in P-I-E-C-E-S

I wanted to make some tracks that are similar to the ones I did for A Piece in P-I-E-C-E-S.  I'll add em as they come.  Going back to the Yamaha Mo8 for the pizzicato and piano sounds.

I wanted to use the new Action Strings I got.  I haven't figured out how to change the settings so I could use the other patterns AS had to offer, but I was excited nonetheless.  I found a great Call of Duty percussion sound so I went with that.  It really turned out a lot better than I thought it would.  One of my favorites.

All Or Nothing

The title of this track refers to an ability used in Naruto by Might Guy.  I thought of making a track in honor of the character, a tribute.  His passion and energy made an impact on me among other characters on the show.  I made this track after reading and watching his final fight against Madara, when he opens the 8th Gate of Death.  This all sounds silly, but it inspired me to make this track.  Hope it is enjoyed.

Felt inspired to make some tracks similar to the ones I did for Kiyon's piece a few years back.  I plan to do more, this was something from tonight's ideas.

Piecing It Back Together

Found some of these additional tracks that weren't used.  Added stuff and mixed it up and here we are!  Round 2!

Round 2

Came up with the first melody last night, and felt like I had to do something with it today.  I've wanted to do just an all piano track.  This was a lot of fun.

Another all piano-like sounds.  I was first just going to do all of it with the electric P, but then I decided to use the full grand that was on by default.

Next Chapter

I think I spend more time trying to come up with a title for these tracks than actually making the track.  Not as chill as my Pace of Mind, and I ran off course by adding a little chorus in the back at the end... would have sounded better with the Vocalise, but hey. the Mo8 offers only so much.

Here's a track I made for my friend Price who's choreographing for the Summer at SAM: Sculpture Dance.  This is the original version before I had to edit out the beginning.

Probably one of the fastest tracks I put together.  Took a longer time trying to record and come up a name for this track.  It all just came together and I wanted to record it.  Enjoy!

Mister Man

I always get the most inspiration when playing around on a physical piano, and I've recently started hitting the record button on my phone and just recording ideas I come up with just so I have them.  I was interested in seeing if I could create something with just using the black keys on the piano.  I found a good template of what I'd use with the left hand and I would just improv the right.  This was my third take at an idea that day, and I'm happy that it turned out quite well - a with a brain fart at one part.
