So a week ago I wrote down "Godforsaken" and I didn't really know what to do next... and like three days ago I picked up my guitar and wrote some riffs. The next day I started writing the lyrics, and while still changing some lines I recorded the song yesterday and finished editing today. It took me a while but I think it was worth it... It says of couple different subjects: politics,scandals we all hear about and people involved, religion and then some. The music is a little tricky,I had couple problems with keeping up. The song is heavy with some low growling. I hope you'll like it.

"Burned Skin" is a song born in 1995, written by Bieke, Daniel, and Stefan in Leuven under the name Sekret Oktober after a b-side of a band I won't mention here. Back then, we thought our obscure lyrics were poetic masterpieces. Fast forward to 2024, and Daniel decided to dig through ancient artifacts (a.k.a. floppy discs) and found a disc reader to resurrect the old MIDI file. Stefan then worked his magic on Logic and gave the song a makeover. Our original singer was not ready to go yet (but who knows, that may still come later), so we substituted the vocals with some melancholic samples.

William is an eclectic, eccentric, and electronic musician from the NW Indiana/ Chicago-land area. William draws influence from a variety sources that include Downtempo, IDM, Ambient, Dream Pop, Lo-Fi, Trip Hop, Soundtrack, New Age, Video Games, Electronic Rock, Art Rock and Progressive Rock.

William came up from working class roots and still exists there, and yet, William’s music both transcends and embraces this history for better or worse. 

At times like an aging philosopher, at other’s belligerent and dumb. Either way, one thing William is not… is boring.
