Recorded live on Jan 28, 2023 at Dolly Disco in Vancouver.  This is the first time we've played an all night B2B together and it ended up being one of most fun times either of us have had DJing.  We played 6 hours from open to close. This recording captures the arch of energy throughout the night, the spontaneity of trading 3 for 3, the imperfections/perfections of a live set and connection between dance floor and DJ. Started with some low fi and trip hop with a touch of hip hop, into some half time then liquid dnb, eventually into some tech house and bouncy jumpy fun time stuff, then mellow out again through some deeper techno and rhythmic 130 stuff. Dubstep somewhere for a bit, and then wrap with low fi and hip hop again.
I'm gonna miss these gigs.

Since 2007 The Willisist has been pushing the underground in Vancouver. With well over 300 shows hosted, at just about every venue the city had to offer, showcasing international headliners as well as the best new and veteran locals.  Still known for the now legendary False-o-Ween series, some massive NYE events at W2 and The Hive Climbing gym, and long running local nights with Nautilus and the Back Stage Lounge, he's also been a regular at Basscoast, and played Shambs and Wicked Woods. 

With a genuine love for Drum and Bass he has opened or hosted for the likes of Calibre, D-Bridge, Andy C, Dub FX, Dub Phizix, Blu Mar Ten, LSB, Spectrasoul, Breakage, High Contrast, Pendulum, Von D, Netsky and dozens more.
