As the dust finally begins to settle after the release of Pan-Pot's massive album 'The Other', it's time to unleash a collection of heavy hitting reworks from the best and brightest stars of todays techno elite. Through careful consideration and an acute attention to detail, we couldn't be more elated to confirm ten artists we know and love to contribute their unique vision to Second State's first ever remix package.

Kicking things off with a heavily twisted alteration of 'Attention' is Nicole Moudaber and it's a tangled, dark trek through dense acoustic layers of audible madness. Next up is the Hamburg duo

Extrawelt with their twist on 'Optimistic Grey' and they deliver a beautiful blend of emotion and groove they are synonymous for.

Following suit is another passionately romantic number from man of the hour, Stephan Bodzin, and his take feels like floating through a sea of clouds, resulting in a timeless classic to be a focal point in any set for years to come.

Next in line is Ray Kajioka's take on '808 Nirvana' and it's a cosmic ride, ripe with swirling atmospherics laid over big churning drums and rolling cymbals.

Following up on the second 12“ of this LP is a man who needs no introduction: Carl Cox. And in true Coxy fashion he turns 'Riot' into just that: a big room, tension building monster!

Broken Engine' is the next track to get worked over and Wigbert delivers a stunning mix of shimmering tones and growling bass resulting in a lush venture through a cosmic backdrop of flickering stars in deep space.

Joseph Capriati ensues with his vision of 'Fugitives' and he brilliantly keeps the vibe of the original yet adds his trademark big room flair to take it to another level of driving euphoria.

Enlisting the talents of Alan Fitzpatrick to remix one of the slower listening tracks on the album turned out to be magic. With his signature percussion, Fitzpatrick takes the parts and creates a dive deep into sultry smooth waters of seduction.

The first of our last two remixes, which are digital exclusives, come from Paul Ritch and he delivers a grinding rendition of 'Riot', expertly crafted for the more euphoric peak time occasions.

Last and certainly not least is a man on the rise, Kevin Knapp with his twist on his own collaboration with Pan-Pot: 'Get In'. An expertly crafted tech house jam exploding with energy and attitude perfect for any moment, day or night, indoors or out.

No matter the time or place, there is something here for everyone and we are truly fulfilled and honored to present this package of cutting edge artists to celebrate this landmark moment. We know you will enjoy!

Young Irish-producer Rebūke continues his rapid ascent to the top with two original productions on Hot Creations, primed and ready for the dancefloor.

Rebūke recalls being worried that Along Came Polly may have been perceived as being “a bit too weird”, but once it caught the attention of Jamie Jones, there was no stopping it. He says that the hype surrounding this EP “is something I’ve never experienced before...and it always get a great reaction”.

On Along Came Polly, Rebūke showcases his innate ability to craft a weirdly, wonderful slice of techno. On the B-side, Rolo is a much housier affair, weaving together a bouncier bassline and sultry vocal stab.

The alias of Reuben Keeney, Rebūke, has only been in business for a short while, but his efforts have already proved to be fruitful. He has garnered support from the likes of Nic Fanciulli and released on labels including Saved and DFTD, as well as having a successful club night under his belt, where highly regarded names such as Camelphat, Darius Syrossian, Ejeca and Huxley have all played.

'Odd Echoes Vol. 2 is the second VA offering from duo Fur Coat's Oddity imprint. As well as featuring original material from the label owners themselves, this time around the package features work from the likes of Yotam Avni, Colyn, Esoteric Circle, Antonio Ruscito and more.

With productions throughout 2019 on labels such as Sasha's Last Night On Earth, Marc Romboy's Systematic and Oliver Huntemann's Senso Recordings, Venezuelan duo Fur Coat focus consistently on strong output. The same can most definitely be said for their imprint Oddity, having most recently released the much lauded EP from Afterlife affiliate Black Peters, the duo have used the label as a platform to unearth and showcase some of the scenes most promising talent.

Opening the package are label bosses Fur Coat with "Terra Luna", a hotly anticipated release that has been huge in their sets recently. Characterised with a prominent, metallic sounding lead synth this club focused piece sets the tone for an energetic VA. Next up Colyn, previous Oddity contributor Antonio Ruscito, and Oddity debutants Earthlife & VNTM complete the first half of the package with their original contributions, all providing emotive club tracks, designed for creating key moments during any set.'

Rafael Cerato makes a long over due debut on Beatfreak Recordings with 'Home'. Having appeared on Diynamic, Stil Vor Talent, Systematic, Suara and his own Ritual imprint, the French artist has remained one of the melodic house scenes most tried and tested artists. With a career that now spans the better part of a decade, the Aix-en-Provence resident debuts on Beatfreak with a new EP alongside a remix from Chus & Ceballos.

The lone interpretation on the release is provided by Chus & Ceballos who re-imagine the lead piece 'Home'. Based in Madrid, the Spanish duo and Stereo Productions owners boast a career that spans well over two decades. Having built the hugely popular Iberican sound in the early 2000's to touring the world and showcasing their music on Get Physical, Saved Music, Knee Deep or Nervous Records.

Chus & Ceballos have more than etched their place in electronic music history. Now returning to Beatfreak for the first time in seven years the duo cap the release off with a classy rendition of 'Home'. Exotic drums and a driving groove sound immediately enticing, building a momentous foundation for Eleonora's vocals to descend upon. Perfectly intertwined with the lead synth, it's the minor details which really make this so special. Percussive trails and clustered claps add dynamic moments across the first act, perfectly setting up cavernous break and mammoth drop. A huge interpretation from Chus & Ceballos which rounds out a massive Beatfreak debut for Rafael Cerato. Highly recommended.
