One of my first tech-trance remixes, I quite like it even though one of the lines of the verse is slightly off. Lots of Vanguard in the synths but don't judge me on that.

Will B Bootlegs

Tomcraft - Loneliness (Will B Remix)

A very, very silly remix. However I've never made a track that gets a better reaction than when the breaks kick in. Trust me on this one.

The Prodigy - Narayan (Will B Silly Bounce Remix)

I used to play this remix a lot, I quite like it. Marco's management didn't, but hey ho. Have fun!

Marco V - GODD (Will B Remix)

A friend gave me a CDR of the original Nyctalopia when I worked at Monster Tunes. I loved it and desperately wanted to sign it, but for various internal politics reasons it didn't happen. So I shared it with Nick and Luke at Perceptive Records, they loved it and signed it straight away. I made the remix for them for free, partly because the original is so fucking brilliant and partly as a favour to a couple of mates.

The original is still way better than my remix, but I tried to take it in a different direction so there was variation on the overall release. Tiesto played this mix a few times so I guess I did something right...

Andy Blueman - Nyctalopia (Will B Remix)

Unreleased chill out remix of Twenty Three, made in about 2009.

Will B - I Thought He Was Dead! [Trance Mix]

Remix I made of one of my favourite BT tracks. Produced in December 2008, never released.

All samples were released for free at the time on BT's website http://bt-network.org/downloads/ and remain the property of BT and the relevant record label(s). All remix & additional production remains my property.

BT - Dreaming (Will B Blasphemy Remix)

A bit of messing around to try and make something with that '99 Ferry Corsten bassline. Not awful.

Will Brookes - 99 Returning [Riff Mix]

Bootleg remix I made for my sets back in 2006. Original was too fast, so I slowed this down (although it's still one of the fastest tunes I made).

Enjoy.

CJ Bolland - The Prophet (Will B Remix) [2006]

I made this track when I was reading American Psycho as part of my 3rd year degree syllabus. The title is the last line of the book, the vocal sample is the last line of the film.
This was never released, but I did play it once or twice including on my episode of Riley & Durrant's NuBreed show on Galaxy.
I'd just discovered Glitch when I made this. Canyatell!?

Will B - This Is Not An Exit [Darkplace Mix] 2007

Released in 2008 as one of the first tracks signed to NuDepth, run by Dan Powers the trance buyer for HTFR. Released on 12", CD & mp3.
I'm rubbish at making up titles for my tracks. This one came from the fact I had the Alan Partridge Series 2 DVD on my desk at the time and it has the word "bitter" written on it. My anecdotes are awesome.
Ferry Corsten's Countdown vote winner for March/April 2008 (I forget) and played a lot by Jules, PvD and the likes.
Again, I went a tiny bit overboard with the Glitch here. Think I just about get away with it though.

Will B - Bittersweet 2006

I tried to make a Gouryella style track...
Original version, Carl B Remix & Ferry Tayle Remix were signed to Monster Tunes in 2005 before I had a... "difference of opinion" with them (we didn’t agree on the morality of not paying an employee for 3 months) and decided to cease working with them. I made an update which sounds OK, so here it is. I like the bassline, I should go electro more often.

Will B - Pangaea (2008 Remake) 2008

This track has pride of place on my wall. It's my first single release, the first 12" with just my work on it and it has sentimental value for me. Yes, even a cynical old fuck like me gets sentimental from time to time.
Released on Monster Pure in 2007 on 12" CD and mp3.
Played by: Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules and so on. Hearing 10,000 people going crazy to this track at a festival is something I'll never forget.
Good times...

Will B - Luz de Sol (Will B's NJB Remix) 2006

Written & produced in 2006/2007... I can't quite remember now. Released in 2009 with Casino & remixes on Redux Recordings 12" & mp3

Will B - Self Portrait [original mix] 2007

The last trance track I ever finished. Production quality wise it's so much better than the likes of Oree/Bittersweet.
As mentioned on a different track, the music industry changed a lot in the time I was producing. In 2005 I sold 2000 12" copies of "Brisky & Brookes - Hands Up!" at £5 a time and made a decent chunk of money. By the time I made this, a good trance track would sell 250 downloads at 79p a time.

Will B - Interference 2008

The first collaboration I made with Katey back in 2006. I really love her voice and I'm really pleased she's doing so well with her original folk music.
I'm quite pleased with how this turned out, break is probably a little long though...

Will Brookes feat Katey Brooks - Hear Me Now (Original Mix) 2006

Hello,

I used to make trance music, some of which was not too bad, but now I don't. The tracks on here are mainly just silly old songs I made for fun, or are hard to find on streaming services.

I don't log in often or read messages on here very often. Please don't be offended if I don't reply to you. I'm also not on social media. Musk and the other tech bros can f**k off. The best way to contact me if you really, really want to is via DM on Discogs, as I read those a bit more often.

Thanks for being interested in my old music. It was a fun hobby which has given me some interesting experiences and cool stories to share late at night over a glass of wine or two. It's a part of my life I enjoyed and am proud of, but some things are best left as memories.

Much love

Will
