Have you ever thought about the different ways by which we love? The things we do to communicate this love? Have you ever thought to differentiate between love and pleasure? Like how a man lost in the desert may feel they love a glass of water upon receiving it, compared to the person who struggles to drink the 8 glasses of water their Doctor instructed them to? We don’t distinguish between love and pleasure very well as a society, but biblically it is important to do so. Join me as we endeavor, with the help of C.S. Lewis’ book, “The Four Loves”, to differentiate between Love and Pleasure over the next 2 weeks. The second week will focus primarily on our expression of love to God specifically!
