'Non-Prophet' lyrically features Abstract taking the original meaning of War's track 'The World Is A Ghetto', and throwing his 21st century perspective over George Benson's epic cover of the track that has been simply manipulated by Willy Soul.

The World Is A Ghetto [Non-Prophet] is the first track of Willy Soul x Abstract's debut mixtape E.P. The Slo-Motion Wax E.P., a selection of beats sampled directly off vinyl, curated, arranged and slowed down by Willy Soul for an unexpected funk and soul.

Mixed by the Berklee School of Music homies Noah Jessup & Alex Pøpz.

The funk comes full circle as we go back in the funky time machine to sample and edit the classic James Brown track 'Papa Don't Take No Mess'. As another track off Willy Soul X Abstract's Slo-Motion Wax EP mixtape, this track features Abstract's 21st century interpretation of the shit that goes on in life and how we can't take no mess anymore. Just wait till Willy Soul takes the 45 and drops it at 33.

The third track off the Slo-Motion Wax EP, 'Summatime' involves sampling inception; we sampled Sublime, who sampled Herbie Mann, so props to Herbie. This track is our aim at a dope summer jam that tells the story of Abstract trying to kick it on a summer day.
