I’m a science journalist, editor and public speaker on science, technology and the future. 

The co-founder and longtime editor of COSMOS, Australia's #1 science magazine, I've also been a science journalist at ABC TV, a staff journalist on The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and New Scientist, and a foreign correspondent at Reuters. 

My work has been recognised with 32 awards, including the AFI trophy for Best Documentary and two Editor of the Year awards, and my stories are featured in The Best Australian Science Writing anthologies of 2012, 2015 and 2016.
