Happy Fri-yay to you all, plus here’s the eighth instalment of the RC B2B guest mix series, which I am very humbled and honoured to welcome Nick & Matt from Peverell @peverell_music this time around 🙏🎶🎧💃🪩🕺😎😊

Peverell have been involved in the Electronic & House Music industry collectively for the last 20 years following in the footsteps of some of their influences from the early years of House, Soul & Disco music. Their versatility to play various genres of music ranging from soul, disco & soulful tracks to the more uplifting house and jackin' styles is something that distinguishes the duo from others.

2025 is going to be another exciting year for them, with lots of new releases, along with their continued successful residencies at Whinstone View, Luna Blu and MFC Host & Stay Suite, plus they are really looking forwards to playing alongside Michael Gray at Disco Down on Sunday 20th April.

I have been a big fan of Nick and Matt’s work for quite a while now, plus have been including a lot of their releases on my SoundCloud mixes (in this series of B2B mixes), plus my RC Groovers Assemble mixes to over the last few years. So, I was properly made up, when they kindly agreed to do a guest mix for me 😊🙏😎🫡

His guest for the second hour was Redwine House, who delivered an upbeat set of stomping house magic, with a light sprinkling of old skool flavours and some massive new tunes. Hailing from Bilbao in Spain, he's played at various nightclubs and restaurants around the town.He produces awesome house music, but sometimes brings tech house, garage and minimal into the mix.

Wilson Frisk hails from Bradford, Yorkshire in the north of England. Like many other Dj's Wilson started his musical journey collecting music as a young teenager doing compilations for his friends. In 1994 Wilson started a music fanzine called 'Jackyard Backoff' with his late friend Chris Stephenson which covered the music scene in the north of England. Around 1995 Wilson became involved with a very successful club night called 'Spice' which was his first stint at Dj'ing playing Broken Beat, Acid Jazz, Hip Hop, Soul and jazz......Wilson has now firmly established himself in the House/Disco scene holding down residencies in Bradford, Leeds and Huddersfield and been involved with infamous club nights such as Back2Funky, Uno House, Our House, Afro Coalition, Way2Funky, Wallop, GYGO and The House Of Phunk. Currently Wilson is one of the Boombox  Stereo residents who play at the mighty BeatHearder Festival and part of the 4Playdjs Collective who play at the Solfest Festival in Cumbria.
