In the Summer of 2008, in a dodgy attic in Assen, a new band was born. The name: Wilson Legacy, after the legendary heritage of soul-pioneer Wilson Pickett. Raw, dynamic and sometimes sensitive. But always from the soul.

The four-piece of experienced musicians locked themselves in the studio to start working on their own sound, which can only be described as ‘Blue-eyed Soul’. A timeless mixture of soul, funk, blues and pop. After establishing their unique flavor, it was time to work on original repertoire. It took months of intense labor, but they are now ready and able to rock the stage.

Their musical merits, audience participation and sheer fun on stage are the three main pillars on which Wilson Legacy is based.
