Elements (Orchestral Version)

A friend told me about the "Hans Zimmer Wants you" contest. Very Exciting stuff.

Then i noticed, my country is not listed  in the countries admited in the rules...so my dream suddenly collapses.

anyway i have a good time creating this theme, having as a reference the Hans zimmer one. I only use the Vocal Stem.

My goals : have a great dynamic range. from very subtle passages to very powerful ones. Have variety of timbres and textures and respect the Hans zimmer melodic idea.

A Dream Collapses

Words On Paper

I was just practicing tonight and felt like recording one of the pieces.  Beethoven's Sonata No. 14 in C# minor Op. 27 No. 2, or otherwise known as 'Quasi una fantasia' or the 'Moonlight Sonata'.  I recorded this on a Steinway D and mastered it in my mastering studio www.alpinemastering.com

Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata (Glenn playing on a Steinway D)

A 9-minute medley comprised of various parts of the Terminator series soundtracks.

Parts taken from Terminator, Terminator2: Judgement Day, and Terminator Salvation.

All parts composed and recorded / produced by me.



Reference for scenes and track listings from the soundtrack that I included in order you hear them -

Salvation opening credits
Metal interlude /breakdown with Salvation "slam" sample and future war synth.
Terminator2 "Trust Me" - Arnold walks into the Cyberdyne lobby to confront the SWAT team.
Terminator1/2 classic theme solo
Terminator2 "Revives" - Arnold removes the impaled staff and reboots in the steel mill.
Terminator1 "Reese In the Alley" - Kyle attempts to outrun the cops after arriving in the past. This theme is also part of the future war scenes.
Terminator2 "Goodbye" - Arnold lowers himself into the steel mill, leaving John and Sarah above.
Salvation "Fireside" - Marcus and Blair share a moment by a fire in the wasteland.


I had plans to remix the original "Salvation" outro credits also as it is such an awesome piece of inspiring music. However it just wouldnt fit into this medley.
