You'd think being a musician in 2016 would be easy with all the technology artist have access to. Truth of the matter is it's more difficult now then ever before. Being an artist takes, sacrifice, commitment, and hard work. Hip hop music more specifically is a genre of art that reflects a particularly real life struggle that everyone can relate too. It's fitting because it's one of thetoughest genres of music to break into. Wiltado is a Jamaican hip hop and reggae musician who creates art that reflects why both hip hop & reggae continue to withstood the test of time.

 

Wiltado was born Kwame Williams in a small town located in central Jamaica. Music has had a very strong and powerful influence on Wiltado his entire life. Having been surrounded by the sounds of reggae with an influnce in hip hop he diced to devote his lifinto turning that art into a career. His inspiration comes from the people he surrounds himself with, and the struggles and joys of everyday life. 

 

Wiltado is still growing, and still learning the ins and outs of the music industry. He  has spent the last few years perfecting his craft, and releasing songs free via the internet. His videos have achieved a good amount of success on YouTube, and he's ready to make his mark on the touring market in 2016.

 

Wiltado is young, charismatic, soulful, and lyrical. All the ingredients to make a young man from Jamaica into a star in the music industry. Influenced by the new legends, his unique style of music differentiates his sound.
