The daily wage and migrant workers are the most affected people during the Corona pandemic. Having left their homes and families in search of livelihood, they face an imminent risk of starvation if not attended to immediately. Gaon Maati Chhod Aaye - A Migrant Worker Anthem portrays what they go through in these challenging times.

Gaon maati door tohey chod aye
Ghar mein bhookey bhaat laaney door aye
गाँव माटी दूर तोहे छोड़ आए
घर में भूखे भात लाने दूर आए
Oh my homeland, my soil, I have left you behind
I have come away in search of livelihood for my hungry family

Motiyon si aasoon roti amma meri
Jaane kaise munna mera raat khaye
मोतियों सी आसूँ रोती अम्मा मेरी
जाने कैसे मुन्ना मेरा रात खाए
My mother cries in pain 
wondering if her son has eaten tonight  

Shehar mein hum besaharey
Gaon mera ghar pukarey 
Kal kya hoga sochta dil tham sa jaata re 
शहर में हम बेसहारे
गाँव मेरा घर पुकारे
कल क्या होगा सोचता दिल थम सा जाता रे
I am helpless in this city, while my village calls me home
My heart sinks, not knowing what tomorrow will bring 
 
Ye bimari jaan leti
Kaam chootey ghar ujadey
Yeh garibi hum jo jeetey kam hai kya re?
ये बीमारी जान लेती
काम छूटे घर उजाड़े
ये गरीबी हम जो जीते कम है क्या रे?
This pandemic that takes lives, uproots livelihoods... 
Is it any worse than the poverty we live in?

Dhoop ho ya ho ghata shram kartey jaye
Desh ke sapno ke hamney path banaye
धूप हो या हो घटा श्रम करते जाएं
देश के सपनों के हमने पथ बनाएं
In sun and in shade, we have worked hard
We laid the roads to the nation's dreams

Desh tu hai maan mera
Dil yeh boley haath jodey
Mushkilon ki iss ghadi mein tu sahara re
देश तू है मान मेरा
दिल ये बोले हाथ जोड़े
मुश्किलों की इस घड़ी में तू सहारा रे
Oh my nation, my pride... my heart cries! 
I join my hands in plea
